Maine Coast Fishermen’s Association
Maine’s fishing heritage runs deep. We work with the Maine Coast Fishermen’s Association, a nonprofit that was founded by fishermen and offers 360 degrees of support to help fishermen advocate for sustainable practices, build resilient businesses, keep their bodies and minds strong, stay safe at sea, and care for their communities.
“Getting the fishermen to tell you what their problems are and then building these solutions together is where it gets really exciting. I love the idea of figuring out how we build something that is sustainable forever in our oceans.”
Ben Martens, Executive Director, Maine Coast Fishermen’s Association
